Why are the leaves of the fortune tree curling?

Why are the leaves of the fortune tree curling?

1. Too much light

Reason: The money tree loves sunlight, but if it is placed in strong sunlight, especially at noon in midsummer, its leaves will be burned and curled without shade.

Treatment method: When the sun is strong, you need to provide shade. You can move the plant to a semi-shaded place or build a sunshade. As long as it is not exposed to direct sunlight, it will be fine.

2. Humidity is too low

Reason: The plant is always kept in a dry environment. If the humidity is not enough, its leaves will not be able to absorb water. Over time, the leaves will continue to curl.

Treatment method: When the climate is relatively dry, you should spray some water with a spray in time. You can spray water on the leaves appropriately, or sprinkle some water on the ground to increase the humidity.

3. Insect Infestation

Reason: If there are insects on the leaves of the plant, they will breed on the back of the leaves, eroding the juice inside the leaves, causing the leaves to curl up.

Treatment method: Buy pesticide and spray it immediately. Use it continuously on places where there are insects to kill the insects. You can also cut off the curled branches and leaves to prevent them from infecting other leaves.
