Why do succulents lose leaves?

Why do succulents lose leaves?

1. Too dry

It may be that the environment is too dry when you are growing your succulents. Succulents are drought-resistant plants, but they also require a certain amount of water content during the growth process. If the soil completely loses water, the succulents will preserve themselves by shedding leaves.

2. Excessive watering causes root rot

If you water too much during maintenance, the root system of the succulent will be damaged, and the leaves will fall off.

3. Black rot

When black rot occurs in succulents, it will also cause the leaves to fall off. However, the leaves that fall off due to black rot often have some obvious diseased tissue on the leaves. At this time, the leaves affected by black rot must be thoroughly cleaned.
