Can the root rot of the money tree be saved?

Can the root rot of the money tree be saved?

1. Can the patient be saved?

If improper fertilizer use or excessive watering is used during the maintenance of the Money Tree, the roots will rot and the leaves will wither, wilt, and collapse. Effective rescue should be carried out according to the specific situation.

2. Rescue Methods

The money tree has a tuber in the soil. If it is found to be rotten, take it out of the pot, remove the rotten roots and the original soil, take out the tuber and gently squeeze it to determine whether the tuber is rotten.

If it is elastic and has no obvious rot, it can be rescued. Bury the tuber in new soil and carry out normal maintenance and management. When the time is right, new roots will grow and it will survive. If the tubers are also rotten, they will not survive even if rescued.
