Reasons why roses don't bloom

Reasons why roses don't bloom

1. Drain water in time

1. Reason: If the rose does not bloom for a long time, it is most likely because it is watered too much. When there is too much water, the soil in the pot will be very wet, the roots may rot, and the growth of the plant will be affected, let alone blooming.

2. Solution: Before watering, you need to pay attention to the condition of the soil in the pot. If there is no sign of dryness, do not water it yet. The amount of water also needs to be controlled, and you can't water too much at one time. If the soil is very wet, move it to a cooler and more ventilated place and wait for the moisture to evaporate. If the roots have rotted, you need to cut off the damaged roots and replant them in new soil.

2. Supplementary lighting

1. Reason: If you often place roses in a place without light, it is very likely that the flowers will not bloom. This is because they cannot synthesize enough nutrients to bloom.

2. Solution: Place it in a place with sufficient light and it does not need shade at ordinary times. If it is particularly sunny in the summer, you can shade it, but this is generally not necessary because it likes light very much and will grow well under the light.

3. Change of species

1. Reason: Some species are inherently difficult to bloom, and this cannot be changed after planting.

2. Solution: Identify the variety before purchasing and make sure to choose a variety that is easy to bloom so that it can bloom. If you plant a variety that is not easy to bloom, you can only take good care of it and wait for it to bloom or simply change to some varieties that are easy to bloom and replant them.
