Common diseases of peach and their prevention and treatment

Diseases of Peach Blossom

There are many kinds of diseases of peach. The roots of peach are prone to root cancer, and the branches are prone to rot, dry rot, wood rot, etc. This is because the growth condition of the peach plant is poor and the plant is relatively weak. The leaves and fruits of peach are prone to leaf curl, perforation, brown rot, etc. Leaf curl disease usually occurs in spring and is particularly harmful to young shoots. Puncture disease is a disease on the leaves of peach trees, which often occurs in the wet autumn. This disease is caused by fungal infection and will cause the leaves to become weak and yellow. Brown rot can harm the leaves, flowers and fruits of peach trees, but it is most harmful to peach fruits. It usually occurs during the peach fruit-bearing season when the weather is humid and the temperature is relatively low.

Prevention and control of peach diseases

When root cancer occurs, it must be dealt with in a timely manner, the tumor must be completely removed, the soil or pots used for potted plants must be thoroughly disinfected, and relevant preventive and control agents must be applied. When rot occurs, first remove the infected part, and then use relevant antibacterial and fungicidal drugs to effectively treat the rot of peach. When peach trees are attacked by diseases such as leaf curl, perforation, and brown rot, the first step is to remove the infected leaves, branches, fruits, etc. to prevent the spread of the disease, and do a good job of disinfection. After that, we can often use relevant bactericidal and antibacterial agents, prepare the solution according to the instructions, and then spray it on the diseased roots or plants. Using pesticides to prevent and control diseases is a very effective method.
