Common diseases of red safflower

There are three main common diseases of red flower sempervirens: anthracnose, damping-off and mosaic.

anthrax

The main symptom of anthracnose of red-flowered sempervivum is the appearance of black spots on the leaves. Because the flowers of red-flowered sempervivum are red, the black spots are extremely conspicuous on the red leaves. Its main harm is that it will cause leaves to fall. The pathogen of anthrax is actinomycetes, which mainly occurs in May every year. It occurs in June, and the pathogen will overwinter on the diseased leaves, thus causing disease the following year.

Damping-off

Damping-off disease is most serious in the seedling stage of plants, but this disease will accompany the plant throughout its life, mainly harming the roots of the plant. Dark spots will appear at the site of bacterial infection, and it will also appear waterlogged, which will then cause the epidermis and xylem to peel off, resulting in the death of the plant.

Mosaic

Mosaic disease is a disease caused by a virus that turns plant leaves white and blue.

Prevention and control methods of red flower succulent tree diseases

anthrax

Once diseased leaves are found, they must be dealt with immediately and destroyed to prevent reinfection. Drainage conditions must be improved, the plants must be exposed to more sunlight, a good ventilation environment must be created, and then chemical treatments must be used.

Damping-off

Use new soil for planting, change the soil frequently, and disinfect the soil. If diseased plants are found, destroy them in time to prevent them from infecting other plants. Use drugs to treat them.
