Causes and treatments of yellow leaves of Cleome

Causes and treatments of yellow leaves of Cleome

1. Water appropriately

Reason: The plant Cleome is relatively drought-resistant and does not need frequent watering. Excessive watering will cause its leaves to turn yellow.

Solution: Place the flower pot in a well-ventilated place in time to allow the moisture to evaporate and allow it to recover for a period of time. Since the roots of plants such as Cleome are relatively sensitive, the principle when watering is to not water unless the soil is dry, and to water thoroughly when watering. Properly control the amount of watering and spray it with water frequently to maintain the humidity of the air and promote its good growth.

2. Sufficient light

Reason: Buddleja loves light. If there is not enough sunlight, the leaves will not be able to synthesize nutrients for a long time and will turn yellow.

Solution: Move it to a sunny place for maintenance. Because it likes sunlight, this kind of growing environment allows it to receive enough light and recover quickly. However, when the sunlight is too strong in the summer, be sure to block the sunlight.

3. Scientific fertilization

Reason: The plant Cleome has a high demand for fertilizer during its growth. If too little fertilizer is applied, it will lack nutrients and become malnourished, resulting in yellowing.

Solution: You need to increase the frequency and amount of fertilization appropriately, and ensure it is done about twice a month. At the same time, we must adhere to the fertilization principle of "light fertilizer, frequent application, small amounts and frequent applications, and complete nutrition". It should be noted that the fertilizer must be diluted before application. If the fertilizer concentration is too high, it can easily burn the plants.
