Why do the leaves of green radish turn yellow?

Why do the leaves of green radish turn yellow?

1. Too much light

Reason: Pothos should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Excessive exposure to the sun can burn its leaves and cause them to turn yellow.

Solution: Pothos prefers a cool environment and can usually accept a little scattered light. When the leaves are burned by strong light, they should be placed in a cool place to recover immediately and should not be exposed to light in the short term.

2. Air Drying

Reason: Pothos prefers a humid environment. Dry air will accelerate the transpiration of leaves, causing them to lose water and turn yellow.

Solution: Spray water on the leaves of the green radish regularly, but don't spray too much to avoid water droplets on the leaves. If humid air is not circulated for a long time, it will be detrimental to its growth, so ventilation is necessary to prevent bacterial growth.

3. Insufficient watering

Reason: The growth of green radish requires sufficient water. Insufficient watering can easily cause the leaves to turn yellow.

Solution: Summer is the growing season for green radish, so watering is necessary at this time. If the environment is relatively humid, you can water it every two days. If it is relatively dry, water it every day. In spring and autumn, you can water less often and extend the watering cycle to once every 3-4 days.

4. Excessive fertilization

Reason: Excessive fertilization will damage the roots of the green radish, affecting its absorption of water and causing the leaves to turn yellow.

Solution: Take the green radish out of the pot and clean the soil around the roots with water. Check the roots and remove any rot. Then replant it with sterilized new soil and place it in a cool place for maintenance.
