What to do if the leaves of the hollyhock turn yellow

What to do if the leaves of the hollyhock turn yellow

1. Replace the soil

Reason: Magnolia officinalis is suitable for growing in acidic soil. If it is planted in alkaline soil or the soil is alkaline, the leaves will turn yellow, even the newly grown leaves will turn yellow.

Solution: At this time, you need to replace the soil in time, pour out the old soil in the flowerpot, and fill it with an appropriate amount of acidic soil for planting.

2. Reduce moisture

Reason: Watering it too frequently during the cultivation period, or the amount of water given each time is too large, causing water to accumulate in the soil, and the leaves of the plant will turn yellow.

Solution: The plant should be removed from the potting soil, the rotten roots should be cut off and the soil should be loosened appropriately. After replanting, the amount of water should be properly controlled.

3. Control the amount of fertilizer

Reason: When fertilizing the magnolia, the amount of fertilizer must not be too large, and the fertilizer concentration should not be too high, as it may easily burn the roots of the plant and cause the leaves to turn yellow.

Solution: You can water it more appropriately to allow the nutrients accumulated in the soil to be discharged, or replace it with new soil. In addition, the amount of fertilizer applied should be controlled during daily maintenance, and should be applied in small amounts and multiple times.
