What to do if the leaves of the money tree turn yellow

1. Control watering

Reason: The tubers of the money tree are very drought-resistant, so if you water it too frequently, water will accumulate. Once root rot occurs, the leaves will easily turn yellow.

Solution: You should remove the flower pot in time to check for root rot. If it is not serious, place the pot in a high place and provide proper ventilation to allow the moisture to evaporate. If the root rot is serious, it is necessary to trim the roots appropriately and replant after disinfection.

2. Proper shade

Reason: It cannot be exposed to direct sunlight during its growth period. If it is placed in a high-intensity environment, the plant is likely to be burned, and the leaves of the plant will turn yellow after being sunburned.

Solution: Cut off the yellow leaves as soon as possible and move the plant under the shade of a tree, or build a sunshade for it and move it in to provide shade when the sun is strong.

3. Root irrigation and fertilization

Reason: If too much fertilizer is applied to the money tree, or the fertilizer is too concentrated, its root system will be burned and damaged, causing the leaves to turn yellow, and in severe cases, it will die directly.
