How to deal with yellowing leaves of Jade Tree

How to deal with yellowing leaves of Jade Tree

reason

You should know that the jade plant is native to Africa. Compared with other plants, it is more drought-resistant and the more light it gets, the better. It can survive even when exposed to the scorching sun in midsummer. Therefore, when planting jade plants, you should ensure sufficient light while strictly controlling watering.

Treatment

1. Change pots frequently. Jade plant grows relatively fast. In order not to affect the normal growth of the plant and ensure that the plant is plump, you should choose suitable soil and larger flower pots to repot the jade plant every spring. At the same time, the soil should be fertilized and watered in moderation during the growing season. In general, water should be applied two to three times a week. In July and August when the climate is humid and the temperature is high, more attention should be paid to the frequency of watering and the amount of water applied each time.

2. Although jade plant is not as delicate as some ornamental flowers and is more resistant to high temperature and drought, if it is placed in an unventilated room in midsummer or is severely lacking in water, it can also cause its leaves to turn yellow. Therefore, in summer, the jade plant should be placed in a semi-shaded environment with good ventilation and moderate lighting.

3. Similar to repotting every spring, in order to prevent the plant from being too crowded, when repotting or placing it indoors in autumn, you can also trim the "inharmonious" branches and leaves to make the jade plant look more delicate.

4. Because the jade plant itself is a tropical plant. Therefore, especially in the cold winter in northern my country, in addition to ensuring that the soil for the growth of jade flowers is fertile and loose, and the environment is ventilated, dry, and sunny, we must also pay attention to the temperature not being too cold, and the indoor temperature not being lower than 7 degrees Celsius.
