How to grow spiderwort until it overflows the pot

How to grow spiderwort until it overflows the pot

1. Maintain the environment

1. Temperature: If you want the spiderwort to grow out of the pot, you must ensure that the maintenance temperature is 18-28℃. If the temperature is lower than 13℃, the spiderwort will stop growing and drop its leaves. If the temperature is lower than 8℃, the spiderwort will easily freeze to death.

2. Light: Net-veined grass does not require much light, but if the light is just right, the plant can grow quickly out of the pot, such as placing it in a room with bright diffuse light in spring and autumn, shading in summer, and more sun in winter.

3. Watering: During the growing season in spring and autumn, the soil should be kept slightly moist. Water it when the soil surface turns white. In summer, under well-ventilated conditions, water should be sprayed frequently to increase humidity. In winter, when the temperature is low, the soil should be kept dry and watered only when the soil is almost dry.

2. Soil Fertilizer and Water

1. Soil: If you want the spiderwort to grow out of the pot, you must provide it with a loose and fertile soil, such as a mixture of leaf mold and perlite, a mixture of peat soil and perlite, etc.

2. Fertilization: Net grass likes fertilizer. The plant will definitely not grow out of the pot without fertilizer. Generally, when planting net grass, mix cake fertilizer and bone meal into the potting soil as base fertilizer. Then wait until the net grass is in the growth period, and water it with compound fertilizer once a month. Be careful not to water it on the leaves.

3. Pruning and cutting

1. Pruning: When the spider grass grows too messy, you can prune it appropriately to promote the sprouting of new branches of the plant and make the spider grass grow more vigorously.

2. Cuttings: If you want the spiderwort to grow quickly, there is another cheating method, which is to cut several small sections of spiderwort as cuttings in spring and autumn, keep 3-4 nodes in each section, pick off the bottom leaves of the cuttings, and insert them into the soil for propagation by cuttings.
