Lily , as a bulbous plant, is a perennial herb belonging to the Liliaceae family. In fact, there are many types of lilies, more than a hundred. 1. Soil selection

Fertile, well-drained soil helps lilies grow and bloom. 2. Watering

Potted lilies should not be watered frequently, and should be watered only after the soil is dry. When the bulbs are in the pot in winter, watering should be reduced or even stopped, while watering should be increased during the spring growth period, and fertilizers should be added in time, such as slow-release fertilizers or phosphorus and potassium fertilizers.

3. Adequate lighting

Lilies need plenty of sunlight to germinate. When there is a lack of light, flower buds are difficult to differentiate, flowering is reduced, and branches and leaves tend to turn yellow.

Before the spring flowering period, lilies should be placed in a sunny location. Combined with fertile soil, sufficient fertilizer and light, the branches of lilies will thrive, with lush green leaves, and multiple flower buds will sprout on each branch. As the buds gradually grow bigger, you can look forward to the flowering period, when the flowers will be stunning.

After the lilies bloom, you can choose to prune some branches, or keep the branches and leaves for photosynthesis.
