What vegetables can be eaten forever after planting?

Many people like to plant vegetables that they can eat throughout the year, saving the trouble of re-sowing the land after eating one crop. I like to plant vegetables that I can eat throughout the year.

1. Lettuce

Lettuce is easy to grow and can be harvested continuously. You can pick leaves from the outside layer by layer and eat them. It grows from the heart. As long as you ensure that there is enough fertilizer and water, you can harvest it again in ten days. In summer, you should eat it every two days. I like to eat it cold, which is crisp and refreshing.

2. Amaranth

Amaranth can be planted once and harvested continuously, and it is drought and waterlogging resistant. Amaranth can be planted by seeds or transplanted. Each time you harvest the top stems and leaves, you can eat them, make stuffing, or serve them cold, which are both very delicious.

After the first harvest, side buds will grow from each stem and leaf and continue to grow. Side buds will grow each time the plants are toppled, so the planting density should be higher.

3. Leek

Especially spring leeks. When the temperature rises, I look at the leeks in the vegetable garden and hope they will grow quickly. They can be used to make various staple foods that are very memorable.

It is best to choose purple root leeks for planting. This variety is cold-resistant, drought-resistant and tastes good. You can first grow seedlings and then divide and plant them, with about 30 leeks per hole. Don't harvest leeks too frequently. Just wait for 1 month each time. Apply fertilizer once after harvesting, and you can harvest continuously.

4. Panax notoginseng

I have been growing Panax notoginseng for several years. I bought them one by one from the vegetable stall at the beginning. I transplanted them when I came back. The survival rate is very high. You can pick the stems and leaves for cold dishes, which has the effect of clearing heat, detoxifying and cooling blood.

5. Nephrolepis

Nepeta does not need to be planted every year. It reproduces very quickly and can grow into a large area in a few years. It can be harvested at any time. New side shoots will grow ten days after each harvest. The more you harvest, the more you will get. It is very delicious with any vegetables in summer.

6. Water spinach

Planting water spinach starts in mid-May every year and can be harvested continuously until September. Each time, you need to harvest 5 cm from the bottom. New shoots will emerge from the bottom. Apply fertilizer after harvesting. Dry soil will affect the quality. Water every few days.
