How to take care of the newly bought Isuzu jade

How to take care of the newly bought Isuzu jade

1. How to deal with the newly bought Isuzu jade

1. Bare roots without soil: Most of the Isuzu jade purchased online are delivered bare-rooted without soil. After receiving the goods, we will first check whether the succulents are carrying diseases and pests. Then cut off the dry fibrous roots, place them in a cool and ventilated place to dry for 2 days, and then plant them in moist soil.

2. Purchase with pot and soil: The Isuzu jade bought at flower markets and flower shops usually comes with a pot. After we buy it home, we just need to expose it to the sun, ventilate it more, and water it appropriately according to the season.

2. How to take care of the newly bought Isuzu jade

1. Light: Isuzu Jade does not require much light. Four hours of sunlight a day can keep the leaves of the succulent compact and emerald green. However, they cannot be exposed to the scorching sun, especially the direct sunlight at noon in summer, which will burn the window surface of the succulents.

2. Temperature: The most suitable growth temperature for Isuzu Jade is 15-30℃. In winter, when the temperature is low, it should be kept indoors and water should be controlled appropriately. The temperature is high in summer, so you should pay attention to shading, cooling, and plenty of ventilation to prevent succulents from dying from waterlogging due to high temperature and humidity.

3. Watering: Spring and autumn are the peak growth seasons for Isuzu jade, so water it when the soil is dry and when the soil is wet. In summer, water as usual under well-ventilated and cool conditions. In winter, when the temperature is low and the light is poor, you should water less. It is safest to water the plants when the leaves are a little shriveled.
