How to raise the Tower of Akane

How to raise the Tower of Akane

1. Breeding methods

1. Soil: When breeding, it is best to use loose, well-drained soil. It is recommended to use garden soil, coarse sand, and leaf mold in a ratio of 2:2:1. In addition, the soil used when repotting in spring should not be too thick.

2. Light: During the growth period of the plant, it must be provided with sufficient light. If the environment is too dark, the leaves will lose their luster. In addition, the maintenance environment must be ventilated in time to ensure a cool environment.

3. Fertilization: Its growth requires nutrition to maintain, so it is necessary to fertilize once every half a month or so. You can use dilute liquid fertilizer or nitrogen fertilizer. But don't apply too much fertilizer to avoid the plant growing too tall.

2. Breeding Methods

1. Division: It is best to do it in spring, usually when repotting. After removing the plants from the pots, use a sharp knife to separate them, usually into 2 or 3 clumps. Each clump should have at least 3-4 branches and some roots. Then plant them separately.

2. Sowing: The suitable time is around April and May, and the sowing temperature should be around 20℃. Then sow the purchased or harvested seeds into the soil, and they will sprout in about half a month.

3. Cutting: Cut off a section of branches with good growth from healthy plants. The length can be maintained at 3-5cm and the branches should have about 4 pairs of leaves. Then, insert the branches into the substrate and keep it slightly moist.
