Preparation method of plant rooting agent

Preparation method of plant rooting agent

Rooting agents are widely used in production and can effectively promote cuttings to take root and germinate as quickly as possible, thereby improving the survival rate of cuttings. There are many kinds of rooting agents, and you can prepare them yourself. Here is an introduction to the preparation method of plant rooting agent.

1. Sugar water

Mix and stir sugar and water in a ratio of 1 to 100 until they become the corresponding aqueous solution. Wait for the cuttings to be fully soaked in sugar water, take out the cuttings after 2 quarters of an hour, and insert them into the prepared substrate. This can increase the survival rate of the cuttings and promote the speed of rooting and germination.

2. Vinegar water

Rice vinegar and water that meet the requirements are prepared into an aqueous solution in a ratio of 1 to 500. After the branches are pruned, immerse them completely in vinegar water and wait patiently for 20 to 30 minutes to allow the effective substances in the solution to fully react with the cuttings. Insert the cuttings into the substrate and ventilate to dry the liquid on the surface of the branches to avoid improper operation.

3. Willow Branch Water

Soak the willow branches in clean water for a certain period of time in advance to allow the special substance salicylic acid to flow out continuously and dissolve in the water. Throw the selected cuttings into the willow water and soak them for 3 to 4 hours. If you are worried that the soaking time is too short, you can extend it for a few hours to effectively increase the rooting speed of the cuttings.

4. Aspirin

Aspirin is a common anti-inflammatory drug in households. If these medicines at home have expired or are about to expire, you can consider adding water to them, preparing them into a water solution, and using it to treat the cuttings.

5. 2% indole-2-nitropropene wettable powder

It mainly uses 1.8% indolebutyric acid + 0.2% S-inducer. This formula can be used for transplanting various seedlings such as tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, etc. to promote rooting and growth of seedlings.

6. 5% indole-naphthyl acetic acid soluble powder

It mainly uses 2.5% indolebutyric acid + 2.5% sodium naphthylacetate. This formula is mainly used for cuttings of various branches such as poplar, willow , apple , grape , flowers , etc. to promote rooting of branches. Before branch cuttings, bundle the branches and soak them in 250 times diluted 5% indole-naphthyl acetic acid soluble powder for 8-12 hours, with a depth of 2-3 cm from the base of the cuttings, and then take them out for cuttings.
