Green vegetable cultivation methods and precautions

Green vegetable cultivation methods and precautions

1. Maintenance methods

1. Temperature: Green vegetables have strong cold resistance and prefer low temperature environment. They can grow normally at 10℃~20℃. Green vegetable seeds can germinate and grow at a minimum temperature of 5℃. If placed at 20℃~25℃, they will germinate in three or two days.

2. Water: Green vegetables require a lot of water at every stage from seed germination to flowering and fruiting. Its leaves are large and have thick petioles, and water is easily evaporated, so the soil must be kept moist and not allowed to become dry.

3. Soil: Its root system is well developed with many fine roots, so deeper soil is its favorite. The soil should be slightly acidic or neutral, and loose and breathable, which can help the vegetables grow better.

4. Flower pots: It is best to use a clay pot with a height of more than 20 cm for planting vegetables, which can allow the roots of the vegetables to grow better. Clay pots with good air permeability and water permeability can also make them grow better.

2. Breeding techniques

1. Sowing: Before sowing, the vegetable seeds need to be dried in the sun for three to four hours. Then, soak them in 50-degree warm water for half an hour, then move them to 25-degree cold water and soak them for three hours. Finally, wait for the seeds to germinate in a 20-degree environment before sowing.

2. Summer: It is a plant that prefers low temperatures, so when the temperature is high in summer, it is easy to cause poor quality of vegetables. The temperature should be lowered to below 30℃ as much as possible, and the soil should be kept sufficiently moist.

3. Problem diagnosis and treatment

1. Downy mildew: Downy mildew may occur throughout the development process of green vegetables, causing the leaves to die and affecting the entire plant. It is necessary to spray aluminum triethyl phosphate in time for prevention and control.

2. Sclerotinia disease: Sclerotinia disease mainly damages the stems of green vegetables. In severe cases, the affected parts will also rot. The disease usually occurs during the flowering period. It is necessary to spray Sclerotinia Net 1 to 2 times and deal with the diseased plants in time.

IV. Other issues

1. Is it poisonous? Green vegetables are common vegetables on the market. They are naturally non-toxic and easy to cultivate.

2. How long to harvest: If the vegetables are planted in autumn, they can be harvested in two months. If the vegetables are planted in spring, they can be harvested after three to four months.
