How to grow white orchids

1. Time Selection

If you want to plant it, you can choose around the end of September to October. The climate is cool at this time, which is more suitable for seed germination and is also beneficial for later growth.

2. Seed Processing

After collecting the seeds, remove and screen out the dry and unfull ones, and then soak them in wood ash water for about 1-2 days. During this process, gently rub off the outer seed coat. After rubbing it off, you can wash it with clean water and place it aside to dry. If you don't use this method, you can also wash the seeds first and then bury them in wet sand, which can also help to germinate.

3. Prepare the soil

The soil should be selected well. It likes to grow in acidic soil, and the pH value should be kept at 5.5-6.3. It also requires looseness, nutrition, and good drainage. Do not use soil with poor air permeability. You can use a mixture of leaf mold, coarse sand, coarse chaff ash, and base fertilizer.

4. Sowing

After all these are taken care of, you can start sowing. Spray water mist on the soil appropriately to keep it moist, then sow the seeds into the soil and cover it with a fine layer of soil.

5. Post-maintenance

After sowing, you must also pay attention to the later maintenance, which is also very important. Spray water frequently to keep it moist.
