How to grow a copper coin tree

How to grow a copper coin tree

1. Lighting

The coin tree loves sunlight very much, so it must be given sufficient light at normal times and placed outdoors or on a balcony so that it can be exposed to enough light to maintain normal photosynthesis.

2. Temperature

The most suitable temperature for its growth is around 20-30 degrees, and try to maintain it within this temperature range. The temperature is very high in summer and needs to be cooled down by spraying water on the leaves. The temperature in winter is relatively low. When the temperature drops below zero, you need to keep warm.

3. Water

A certain amount of water is needed for growth, but it should be noted that the climatic conditions are different in different seasons, and the frequency of watering is also different. Spring and autumn are the growing seasons. At this time, the growth is more vigorous and needs sufficient water support. Watering can be applied every 2-3 days. In summer, evaporation is high, so water the plants once in the morning and once in the evening every day. The climate is cold in winter, so water can be applied every 5-7 days.

4. Fertilization

There are certain requirements for fertilizers. During the growing period, organic fertilizers are mainly applied to ensure good nutrition in order to maintain good growth.

5. Pruning

Its germination ability is relatively strong, and its branches and leaves will become messy after a period of time, requiring proper pruning. The time is chosen after flowering in autumn. The dense branches, long branches, thin branches, and diseased and insect-infested branches should be cut off to facilitate light transmission and promote the healthy growth of the plant.
