Tips for fertilizing flowers

1. Seasonal fertilization

When fertilizing flowers, you must pay attention to the fertilization techniques. Spring and summer are the peak growth periods, and the flowers grow very fast and vigorously, so they need more fertilizer. As the temperature gradually turns cooler in autumn, the demand for fertilizer decreases, so fertilization should be gradually reduced. When the plant enters the winter dormancy stage, growth slows down and fertilization can be suspended.

2. Temperature requirements

When applying fertilizer, you must also consider the temperature requirements. Do not apply fertilizer around noon when the temperature is very high to prevent the roots from burning. It is best to apply fertilizer in the evening when the temperature drops.

3. Apply fertilizer appropriately

Although fertilizer is needed to ensure growth, the amount applied each time should not be too much or too concentrated. The amount of fertilizer applied each time should be less, especially in the seedling stage. As the flowers grow gradually, the amount of fertilizer can be increased appropriately to meet the growth needs as much as possible.
