Rooting method of rose branches soaked in water

Rooting method of rose branches soaked in water

1. Time Selection

It is best to choose spring and autumn seasons, when the climate is relatively warm and the water temperature is more suitable, so the possibility of survival is the greatest. If the climate is too high or too low, it will affect growth.

2. Cut branches

First, select a well-growing plant, and cut off strong and full branches from it, retaining the growth point on top and keeping the cut flat. Leave leaves on top to facilitate the absorption of sunlight and nutrient synthesis later. Cut off the leaves at the bottom that are inserted into water. They cannot be soaked in water and cause rot.

3. Soak in water for rooting

First dissolve the rooting agent in water, then soak the branches in it for a period of time to promote the plants to take root as soon as possible. Then prepare a suitable container, fill it with pure water, and then you can insert the branches into it. You can use a piece of foam board, drill a small hole in the middle, and then insert the branches into it and float on it, and insert the lower end about 3-4 cm. The water should not be turbid, and the water needs to be changed approximately every 2-4 days.

4. Post-management

After soaking in water, place it outdoors in semi-shade, with a little sunlight, but not strong light, otherwise it will cause deterioration and rot underneath. After about 15 days, the branches should be alive. If they appear white, it means they are alive. If they turn black, it means they are dead.
