Peony is a drought-tolerant plant that does not require much water. Too much water will be detrimental to its growth, as it can easily make the soil in the pot very moist, which can cause problems for the roots to grow. Even though spring is the peak growth period, do not apply too much water, otherwise it will not be good for growth. Just apply water once a week or two weeks to ensure normal growth and maintain the plant's water requirements.

2. Water quality requirements

It is a relatively precious flower and has certain requirements for water quality. You cannot use water from a freshly connected water pipe. You can first take out the water and put it outside. After a period of drying, it can be used normally. This will allow the chlorine in it to evaporate and avoid causing damage to the plant.

3. Watering time

The time for watering can be chosen before 10 am or around 4 pm to avoid a large difference between the water temperature and the surrounding temperature, thereby avoiding damage to the plants.

IV. Precautions

Watering can be done during the normal growth stage. If it reaches the flowering stage, watering should be stopped, otherwise the flower buds will fall off.
