Why does the gardenia flower bud fall off?

1. Overwatering

Reason: Although gardenia prefers a humid growing environment, it is also afraid of waterlogging. If it is watered with too much water, its roots may rot, and then it will cause the flower buds to fall off.

Solution: Place the flower pot in a cool and ventilated place for a while, and then reduce the amount of watering after the moisture evaporates.

2. No fertilization

Reason: It likes fertilizer, especially before flowering, and needs a lot of nutritional support. If you forget to fertilize at this time, the nutrients in its body will not be enough to support continued flowering, which will cause the flower buds to fall.
