How to raise Green Tyrant

How to raise Green Tyrant

1. Soil

Just give it loose soil with good drainage. Generally speaking, you can add water to the wood ash at home to make its flower soil directly, and it can usually grow well.

2. Lighting

Give it sunlight, but not strong light. Pay attention to shade and avoid exposure to the sun, otherwise the leaves will turn yellow or even dry and wither due to the sun. Also, don't place it in a dark place for a long time, as that will prevent it from growing healthily.

3. Temperature

It is not very cold-resistant and is suitable for growing in an environment of 20-30 degrees. The temperature is too low in winter, generally no higher than 13 degrees, and it will usually stop growing. Pay attention to antifreeze issues.

4. Watering

It is drought-tolerant, but prefers a relatively humid environment and can generally be watered every 2 days. It is best to wait until the soil in the pot is dry before watering. During its growth period, remember to spray more water and maintain a certain humidity to facilitate its growth.

5. Fertilization

Basically, it prefers fertilizer. You can give it fertilizer once a month when it grows. Remember to add fertilizer containing nitrogen, which is more conducive to its growth. It is best to apply it once every two weeks from early spring to late autumn, so that it will grow faster.

6. Notes

Don't water too much or too frequently, otherwise it will cause waterlogging and death. Usually, make sure to place it in a place that is sheltered from rain. A place with good air circulation would be even better. Generally, it is more susceptible to leaf spot disease. Avoiding keeping the plant in a too humid and hot environment will reduce the incidence of the disease.
