Hydroponic vegetable nutrient solution formula

Hydroponic vegetable nutrient solution formula

1. Water Use

Water is the largest component in the nutrient solution. It is best to use natural rainwater, which is the most important water source. It is not only very pure, but also contains a large amount of trace elements, which can supplement the nutrients most needed for growth. If river water is used, safety cannot be guaranteed as it may contain chemicals that will restrict the growth of vegetables. You can also use tap water that has been left to stand for a period of time. This will remove the chlorine in the water and reduce the impact on the vegetables.

2. Nutritional Ratio

According to the elements needed for vegetable growth, you can mix sodium, calcium, potassium, nitrogen, phosphorus, magnesium, etc., for example, 70 grams of superphosphate, 10 grams of sodium nitrate, 40 grams of magnesium sulfate, 35 grams of potassium sulfate, 25 grams of ammonium sulfate, etc., mix them with clean water and stir. There is no exact dosage, you can increase or decrease it according to the different requirements of flowers.

3. Notes

When mixing, be careful not to use metal containers, otherwise it will affect the solution inside. You can use other materials, such as glass or ceramic, which will not destroy the elements inside.
