Persimmon trees prefer warm and sunny environments. They are suitable for growing in deep, fertile, moist and well-drained soil. They are suitable for growing in neutral soil. They are relatively cold-resistant, barren-resistant, and drought-resistant. They are not resistant to saline-alkali soil.
