How to grow succulents in summer

How to grow succulents in summer

1. Temperature

Usually it is not resistant to high temperatures. Generally, they grow better in a relatively cool environment and are not resistant to high temperatures. Especially in summer, you must pay attention to cooling down the temperature in time, otherwise it will cause their roots to rot or they will not be able to grow normally. You can put it in an air-conditioned room to help cool it down, but be careful not to be blown directly by the air conditioner.

2. Lighting

They can accept diffuse light, but not direct sunlight. Especially in summer, they need to be shaded to avoid being burned by the sun and unable to grow normally. You can put it in a shaded place to help it grow better.

3. Watering

Usually you can water them every 3-5 days to help them grow more luxuriantly. Generally, you can choose to water the plants in the morning and evening, but be careful not to water them at noon to avoid sunburn.

4. Fertilization

They don’t have very high requirements for fertilizer, and generally they can grow vigorously with just fertilizer. You can use the bones you grind after eating meat at home as fertilizer, or choose special compound slow-release flower fertilizer, which can help them absorb nutrients better.
