Cultivation methods and precautions of pineapple flowers

Cultivation methods and precautions of pineapple flowers

1. Soil

When breeding, you need to use well-drained and loose soil. You can mix garden soil, peat soil, perlite and cinder to prepare it, which can basically meet the growth needs. Or you can go to a flower shop to buy special nutrient soil, but be careful not to use soil that is too sticky.

2. Temperature

It likes a warm environment, and it is best to provide a temperature environment between 20 degrees and 35 degrees during maintenance. In winter, when the temperature is low, pay attention to keeping warm and place it in an environment with a temperature above 10 degrees to avoid frostbite.

3. Watering

There is no need to water it frequently during maintenance, usually once every seven days. The soil only needs to be slightly moist, but no water accumulation, otherwise the roots will easily rot. You can spray water on the leaves frequently to clean them and increase the humidity, which is beneficial to growth.

4. Fertilization

It likes fertilizer and cannot do without fertilizer during its growth period. Usually fertilizer should be applied once every seven days, and sufficient nutrients will lead to more vigorous growth. During the growth period and flowering period, the dosage of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers should be increased to promote flowering.

5. Notes

During the maintenance period, attention should be paid to timely pruning, especially after the flowers have faded, the remaining flowers and flower stalks should be pruned once to avoid the loss of unnecessary nutrients. In addition, if you find that the water in the impeller tank has not been absorbed, you must replace it in time to prevent the water from deteriorating and breeding pests.
