It prefers a relatively cool environment to grow, and the climate in the south is warm, which is generally not as suitable as the environment in the north. However, as long as the temperature can be controlled between 10 and 15 degrees, it can be planted and its growth will not be affected. If the temperature exceeds this range, it is not recommended to plant it, as it will affect flowering and growth.

2. Planting Method

1. Processing of bulbs: They must be treated at low temperatures before planting. In the south, it is best to place them in a refrigerator with the temperature set between 7 and 10 degrees Celsius for about 30 to 40 days. This way, the bulbs can end dormancy and begin to bloom.

2. Prepare the soil: The bulbs are afraid of waterlogging, so when planting, use sandy soil with good drainage and a slightly acidic soil. Before potting, add an appropriate amount of organic fertilizer to increase nutrients and promote flowering.

3. Planting in pots: After preparing the soil, you can plant the bulbs that have been treated with low temperatures into the pots. First put half a pot of soil in the pot, then put the bulb in. Don't put it too deep in the soil, just enough to completely cover the root plate. After planting, place it in a semi-shaded place and slightly moisten the soil. It will bloom in about two months.
