1. Time selection: For Monstera cuttings, you must choose the right time, preferably in spring and autumn. The climate in these two time periods is more suitable, the temperature can be maintained at around 20 degrees, and the survival rate after cuttings is relatively high. Other time periods are also acceptable, but you must pay attention to controlling the surrounding temperature.

2. Cut cuttings: Choose a healthy Monstera plant, cut strong branches from it, and then divide it into several sections. Each section should have two nodes, retain the aerial roots, and remove excess leaves. After cutting it, you cannot use it for cuttings immediately. You can put it aside to dry first.

3. Prepare the substrate: The substrate for cuttings is mainly breathable, loose and air-permeable. It can be prepared with fine sand, vermiculite, peat soil and perlite. The prepared substrate can meet the requirements of cuttings. After preparation, disinfection and sterilization are carried out to remove bacteria and insect eggs inside.

4. Carry out cuttings: insert the branches into the substrate, with the thinner end facing up and the rooted end facing down.

After cuttings, water the soil thoroughly to maintain moisture and keep the soil moist. Ensure a good temperature around it, and it will take root and sprout after a period of time.
