How to grow Begonia

How to grow Begonia

1. Breeding conditions

1. Soil: It needs to be relatively loose, preferably alkaline soil. You can add an appropriate amount of river sand into the flowerpot.

2. Watering: Keep the soil in the flowerpot moist and give water in time, but do not allow water to accumulate in the flowerpot. It is best not to let it get wet in the rain, and it is best not to water it when the weather is too cold.

3. Light: It needs to be placed in a sunny place, but it also needs to be shaded at noon in summer to avoid direct sunlight.

4. Temperature: It does not require high temperature for the growing environment and is relatively cold-resistant, so it can be grown outdoors in winter.

5. Fertilization: Use some fertilizer in time after it sprouts, leaves fall, and flowers fade. You can choose some special fertilizers.

2. Breeding Methods

Grafting cultivation can be adopted in spring or autumn. The seedlings need to grow in loose and fertile soil. Pay attention to fertilizing before flowering and continuously increase the water supply.

3. Pest and disease control

1. Aphids: Maintain ventilation and prevent and control them by changing the breeding environment.

2. Red spider mites: When the temperature is relatively high, it is more likely to develop red spider mites symptoms, which need to be solved by spraying drugs.

3. Leaf roller: This disease requires the leaves to be brushed open with a brush to avoid affecting plant growth.
