1. Time to change pots

It is best to repot orchids in spring and autumn. The suitable temperature will not be too high or too low, and the plants will be in the mature stage of growth, which can greatly reduce the chance of damage. If you want to do it in spring, you can do it during the vernal equinox; if you want to do it in autumn, you should do it during the autumnal equinox.

2. Repotting Method

Before repotting, take out the plant, shake off the soil around the roots, and use clean water to clean the roots of the plant. Comb the roots and use scissors to cut off the rotten and dry roots, but avoid cutting the healthy roots. If conditions permit, it is best to apply some sterilization powder on the incision site, which can play a good role in disinfection and sterilization. Finally, dry the plants and replant them.

When planting, you must pay attention to ensure that the roots of the plants are evenly distributed in the soil and not let them get tangled together, as this will make it difficult for the plants to recover after repotting.
