How to grow Dracaena fragrans well

How to grow Dracaena fragrans well

1. Soil suitability

If you want the Dracaena to grow better, you should try to choose soil suitable for its growth. It is best to use loose and fertile sandy loam. The soil must also have good drainage to prevent root rot due to waterlogging. It can be mixed with peat soil and river sand, and an appropriate amount of bone meal can be added.

2. Reasonable watering

It grows better in a moist place. Make sure there is enough water in the potting soil and replenish it with water in time, but no water accumulation should occur. In addition, you should also use a spray bottle to spray some water frequently to appropriately increase the humidity of the breeding environment and avoid the maintenance environment being too dry.

3. Ensure temperature

To create a warm growing environment for the plants, try to adjust the temperature to a suitable range. Generally, 20-25℃ is best. The temperature during the winter should not be too low, otherwise frostbite may occur. The breeding temperature during the winter is best maintained above 10℃.

4. Change the pot regularly

Newly planted plants need to be repotted once a year to ensure that the size of the pot is suitable for the growth of the plant. If the pot is too small, the plant will grow poorly. Mature old plants need to be repotted every other year, and you should choose the right time, preferably in early spring.
