How to grow the lucky flower

How to grow the lucky flower

1. Temperature

During the maintenance period, it is best to provide it with a temperature between 15 and 22 degrees. The growth will be better if the temperature is suitable. It is not cold-resistant, so the temperature must be controlled in winter. Try not to keep the environment below 15 degrees, otherwise it will affect its growth. In addition, during the high temperatures in summer, you should ventilate and water more often to lower the temperature.

2. Lighting

It likes light, but can only accept scattered light. The daily lighting time should be more than 5 hours. If it is not enough, it will affect flowering. But be careful to shade the plant in summer and avoid direct sunlight, otherwise the strong light will burn the leaves.

3. Watering

It likes to grow in a humid environment, so you need to water it frequently and keep it moist, but not waterlogged. Usually, you should also pay attention to spraying water on the leaves more often, which can not only increase the humidity, but also clean the dust on the leaves. In addition, when watering, use water that has been dried in the sun, and do not use tap water directly.

4. Fertilization

Every summer is its flowering period. The flowers are large and colorful, and it needs more nutrients. It is best to apply fertilizer once a week. Fertilizer can be rotted sesame paste residue or bean cake, or fermented rice water.

5. Notes

If the ventilation is poor, the temperature or humidity is too high during maintenance, it is easy to cause diseases and pests. Such as scale insects, red spiders and sooty mold. When discovered, spray carbendazim or omethoate to prevent and control it, and do not allow it to continue to worsen.
