How to raise Veronica

How to raise Veronica

1. Pot soil selection

The flowerpot should be of moderate size, with a diameter of about 18cm, which can match the growth. The soil filled in it can be sandy loam with better drainage properties. In order to meet the nutritional requirements, mixed soil can be used and some fertilizer can be added as base fertilizer.

2. Lighting conditions

The provision of light is of great help to its growth. Although it can tolerate partial shade, it needs to ensure sufficient light. Place it in a place with good lighting on a daily basis. If the sunshine time is short and this condition is not met, the plant will grow too tall. Artificial fill light can be used when necessary.

3. Temperature conditions

15℃-35℃ is the most suitable temperature for growth. The temperature is lower in winter, so insulation measures need to be taken to prevent it from being frostbitten.

4. Proper amount of water

It does not have too many requirements for water, but it needs to maintain sufficient water supply during the growing period. However, after autumn, the demand for water can be greatly reduced, especially in winter. The amount of water should not be too much to prevent waterlogging.

5. Apply fertilizer

Apply fertilizer in time during the period of vigorous growth to ensure the balance of various nutrients. During the flowering period, pay attention to applying more fertilizers high in phosphorus and potassium content, and gradually reduce fertilization after winter.
