The difference between Bai Xueguang and Yu Weng

1. Species category

Although their families are the same. However, for the first plant, it belongs to the genus Aglaonema, while for the second plant, it belongs to the genus Mammillaria. So, we can understand that there are indeed many differences between different genera.

2. Appearance

(1) First of all, in terms of shape, the former is spherical or slightly flattened, while the latter is solitary, spherical or elliptical in shape, and bright green in color.

(2) Then there is the diameter of the ball. The diameter of the first plant is between six and ten centimeters, while the diameter of the second plant is relatively longer, about ten to twelve centimeters, which is a circle larger than the former.

(3) The third difference is their flowers. The flowers of the first type of plants are terminal, funnel-shaped, and crimson in color. Their flowers extend out from some white thorns. The flowers of the second type of plants are pink and bell-shaped, blooming in a circle around the ball. Simply put, in terms of position, the flowers of the former bloom at the top, while the flowers of the latter bloom in a circle around; in terms of color, the flowers of the former are crimson, which is deeper than the pink of the latter.

3. Reproduction method

For the first type of plant, it can be sown, and others can also use grafting; and for the second type of plant, in addition to sowing and grafting, you can also use cuttings.
