The difference between apricot blossom and peach blossom

The difference between apricot blossom and peach blossom

1. Difference of blades

The leaves of apricot flowers are broadly ovate or rounded ovate, about 5-9 cm long and 4-8 cm wide, with rounded and blunt teeth on the edges, glabrous on both sides or with soft hairs in the axils of veins below, and the petiole is about 2-3.5 cm long.

The leaves of peach blossom are elliptical-lanceolate in shape and later become obovate-lanceolate. They have fine serrations on the edges, are hairless on both sides, and have petioles about 1-2 cm long.

2. The difference between flowers

Apricot flowers are solitary, with round to obovate petals that are white in color and yellow-white stamens. They have a somewhat pungent smell when blooming. The flowering period is in April.

Peach blossoms are also solitary, the color of the flowers is pink or almost red, the stamens are purple-red, the flowers are fragrant, and the flowering period is March.
