How to hydroponically cultivate hyacinth and how many times can it bloom

1. Hydroponic method

1. Prepare the container: When growing hydroponically, you need to prepare a container that is small on top and large on the bottom, and the top should just be able to hold the bulb. You can use a goblet or a wine bottle, but a gourd-like container is best.

2. Add water and place the bulbs: Add an appropriate amount of water to the container. The water temperature should be below 15 degrees. Do not add too much water to submerge the bottom of the bulb. Leave about one to two centimeters of water, and then place it in a light place for maintenance.

3. Shade in time: Move to a dark place in time when the roots grow about five centimeters, or use black cloth to shade, so that the roots can grow further. In addition, you can add some water at this time so that the top of the roots can also be exposed to water, which is conducive to root growth.

4. Later maintenance: In the later stage, it should be exposed to the sun for two hours every day to make the leaves and flowers grow stronger. In addition, you should also pay attention to changing the direction of the container frequently. Do not let one side always see the light to avoid crooked growth.

2. How many times can it bloom?

It can only bloom once a year, but that doesn't mean you have to throw it away after it blooms. You can take it out of the container, dry it, and then bury the bulb in the soil. It will probably continue to sprout by the end of the year, and it will bloom again if you take good care of it.
