Cultivation methods and precautions of yellow wood fragrance

Cultivation methods and precautions of yellow wood fragrance

Aquilaria sinensis is an ornamental plant that is relatively easy to grow. It does not have high requirements for soil and can grow even in arid and barren environments. It should be noted that its growth cannot be separated from sufficient light, and this plant itself is afraid of waterlogging, so it is best to grow it indoors.

How to cultivate yellow wood fragrance

1. Soil

Aucklandia has certain requirements for the soil. It is best to use loose, fertile, breathable and water-permeable soil. You can directly dig some river sand, wash it at home and mix it into the garden soil. This kind of soil contains the nutrients needed for plant growth, and has good air permeability and water permeability. It is very suitable for maintaining Aucklandia.

2. Lighting

Aromatica needs sufficient light to grow. It is very sun-resistant, so we can put it in a place with sufficient light all year round. If there is not enough light, we can use fill light to supplement the light.

3. Moisture

Aromatica likes a humid growing environment. We usually water it once a week. The temperature in summer is relatively high and water evaporates quickly, so it is best to water it thoroughly once every 1-2 days.

Matters Needing Attention in the Maintenance of Yellow Aucklandia

1. Fertilization

When the yellow wood fragrance is in bloom, you can add some phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to it, 3-4 times a month. Stop fertilizing after it blooms, and remember to add compound fertilizer once a month.

2. Pruning

The growth rate of yellow wood fragrance is very fast, so you must trim its branches regularly. If you don't trim them for a long time, the branches will grow in a messy way, which will still affect the appearance.
