1. Should I get some sun?

Chrysanthemum is a sun-loving plant. In order to promote its vigorous growth, it needs reasonable exposure to the sun. Only when the light is appropriate can flower buds be produced and normal flowering be promoted. If the plant lacks sunlight during maintenance and the growing environment is too shaded, it will grow poorly and find it difficult to bloom.

During the growth period, the plant must have sufficient sunlight for vigorous growth. When the light is not strong, the chrysanthemum can be moved outdoors to bask in the sun, or placed indoors where it can be exposed to sunlight. However, it does not like strong light and must not be exposed to direct sunlight in summer. It should also be noted that it is a short-day plant. When the flowers are gestating, short light exposure is required, and the light exposure time should not exceed 12 hours.

2. What to do if the plants wilt in the sun

If you don't pay attention to shielding chrysanthemums in the summer, they will easily wilt due to the sun. If you find that the chrysanthemums are wilted by the sun, you need to move them away from their original location in time and place them in a cool semi-shaded environment. They should not be exposed to strong light for a short period of time. Spray water on the plants appropriately and maintain a good ventilation environment. After a period of time, the chrysanthemums will recover. If some leaves are burned by strong light and turn yellow, they need to be cut off in time to avoid affecting the appearance and reduce nutrient consumption.
