How to grow cactus

1. Soil

2. Lighting

Cactus succulents are relatively shade-tolerant plants. They can also be placed in relatively shady places, but they cannot be placed there for a long time and they also need light.

3. Moisture

Many cacti and succulent plants are relatively drought-resistant and have strong drought tolerance. They will not wither even if they are not watered for a long time. However, they cannot be left without watering for too long. Just water them thoroughly when the soil is dry.

Cactus care precautions

Although cacti are shade-tolerant, it is best to place them in a sunny place to allow them to get enough sunlight, which is beneficial to their health and growth. However, they cannot be exposed to strong sunlight, otherwise the plants will easily be sunburned. Their demand for nutrients is not very high, so they basically do not need to be fertilized at ordinary times. When the soil is too poor, apply some fully decomposed organic fertilizer water and control the fertilizer to make them grow vigorously.
