How to plant garlic seedlings in pots

If you want to grow potted garlic sprouts, it is best to choose fertile, loose, humus-rich soil, then plant the seeds in it, water them once every 2-3 days, and finally wait for them to germinate.

Growth habits of potted garlic seedlings

Potted garlic sprouts prefer a cool climate environment and have good cold resistance. The most suitable growth temperature is between -5-26℃. It is also a long-day plant that requires at least 13 hours of light a day and should be kept in a cool and ventilated place.

Potted garlic seedling planting method

1. For potted garlic sprouts, you must first choose a slightly larger and deeper flowerpot, or a foam box, fill it with 70% soil and an appropriate amount of dry sheep manure as base fertilizer.

2. Then break the garlic apart and plant it in the potting soil with the buds facing upwards. The spacing should be kept at about 5-10 cm. Then cover it with a layer of soil, water it thoroughly, and place it in a cool place for maintenance.

Precautions for potted garlic seedling cultivation

1. During the growth process of garlic sprouts, the requirement for water is relatively high, so the amount of watering must be controlled. The specific amount should be determined according to the moisture of the soil and the growth of the garlic sprouts. Be careful not to cause water accumulation.

2. If you want to prevent garlic sprouts from being attacked by pests and diseases, you must improve their disease resistance. When the temperature is stable at around 18°C, you can spray them with a new lipid film.
