The planting technology of tangerine is relatively simple. It is planted in February and March every year, and the land for planting should be fertile land. When choosing the land, try to choose a location close to abundant water sources.

Before planting, you must first apply the base fertilizer, then dig a hole and apply phosphorus fertilizer. You can also use livestock manure and urine water. After land preparation, you can plant the seedlings. If the branches and leaves of the seedlings are too long, they should be pruned. This can reduce water evaporation and nutrient waste caused by excess branches and leaves. Cut off the main roots, leaving only the fibrous roots, to ensure the moisture of the soil.

After the mandarin orange seedlings are planted, the soil must be kept moist within 3 days and watered every day. Water shortage is not allowed. Watering can be stopped until the plants survive.

Management methods of tangerine

After the tangerines are planted, the sapling stage lasts for 2 years until they bloom. The focus of management at this time is to strengthen the tree's nutrition, perform reasonable pruning, and cultivate a strong crown skeleton and a good root system.

After transplanting, the main branches on the trunk should be pruned back to 5-6 leaves to promote the sprouting of new shoots. Then, 3-4 branches with consistent growth, medium growth and even distribution should be selected as secondary main branches. After the new shoots mature, they should be pruned back again to promote sprouting, and attention should be paid to fertilization.
