Its leaves are oval with a pointed head. Each leaf is about 3cm-4cm long and the whole plant is 15cm~20cm tall. Flowers will emerge from the branches from late autumn to early spring. The flowers are bright red and have 5 petals. The succulent mirror star is very drought-resistant, likes light, and can tolerate semi-shade. Overall, it is very suitable for being placed in a cool, dry and sunny environment.

Mirror Star Succulent Cultivation

If you want to grow the mirror star succulent into good condition, you have to cultivate it according to its growth habits. The mirror star likes a cool climate, and the most suitable temperature for its growth is 15 to 25℃. In winter, in order to prevent the plant from being damaged by frost due to the cold, it is best to control its growth environment above 6℃ and cultivate it in a warm and well-lit place indoors.

Matters Needing Attention in Maintenance of Mirror Star

During the maintenance of the Mirror Star Succulent, you should pay attention to keeping the soil dry during the growing season. Do not water too much, just keep the soil slightly moist, and maintain good ventilation to avoid root rot caused by excessive moisture in the soil. When the temperature reaches the high temperature in summer, you can water it in small amounts once a month. Be careful to prevent water accumulation at the bottom of the pot on rainy days and being washed away by heavy rain. In winter, you should also control watering to prevent root rot.
