Rainbow Jade Succulent is relatively easy to grow. It is a common succulent plant of the genus Sedum in the Crassulaceae family. It has very strong vitality and its leaves are oval in shape. It is suitable for growing in loose and breathable soil and has a certain degree of sun resistance.

How to grow Rainbow Jade Succulent

1. Sunlight

The suitable temperature for the growth period of rainbow jade is 15-28 degrees. The temperature and sunshine in spring are suitable for the growth of rainbow jade. Therefore, when raising rainbow jade in spring, it is best to keep it under sufficient sunlight. If there is insufficient light, rainbow jade will easily grow too tall.

2. Watering

Rainbow Jade has a strong reproductive ability. During its vigorous growth period, if it is watered too much, the rainbow jade will easily suffer from waterlogging and root rot. If it is watered frequently, the rainbow jade will easily grow too tall.

3. Fertilization

You can apply a thin layer of decomposed cake fertilizer water to the rainbow jade every 30 days or so. This will make the leaves of the rainbow jade more rosy and the plant grow more vigorously.

4. Repotting

Rainbow Jade needs to be repotted every 1-2 years. When repotting the rainbow jade, you need to choose a well-drained and loose soil. You can use leaf mold, sand, vermiculite and perlite.

When caring for rainbow jade, you should pay attention to pruning the roots, because its growth rate is relatively fast. Timely pruning of branches and leaves can promote the growth of new roots, prevent it from growing too tall, and reduce unnecessary nutrient loss.
