What fertilizer is best for white jasmine (how to fertilize white jasmine to make it grow faster and bloom more)

In fact, white jasmine usually blooms from April to October. It has a long flowering period and is full of fragrance. If you want to have more flowers and a strong fragrance, you need to pay attention to the following aspects.

1) Apply sufficient base fertilizer

White jasmine likes fertilizer. When repotting and changing the soil every 2 to 3 years, mix well-rotted sheep dung balls into the soil as base fertilizer, or you can use fermented poultry manure as base fertilizer.

But be careful not to apply too much or too concentrated fertilizer, or unfermented and decomposed raw fertilizer, so as not to cause high temperature to burn the roots. In addition to the culture soil containing sufficient nutrients, you should also apply decomposed organic fertilizer every 10 to 15 days during the growth period.

2) Top dressing

Because white jasmine has a long flowering period, it requires more nutrients.

Therefore, after the plant blooms, it should be fertilized with fermented bean cake water or fish water every 7 to 10 days. The concentration should be controlled, and it should be applied lightly, frequently, and in the evening. When the autumn is cool, fertilization should be stopped.

3) Foliar spraying of inorganic fertilizers

In addition to applying root fertilizer liquid, spray inorganic fertilizer on the leaves and alternate with applying organic fertilizer, applying foliar fertilizer liquid alternately every half a month.

For example, spray 0.1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate mixed with urea to dilute the clear solution, Huaduoduo No. 2 flower-promoting fertilizer and other foliar fertilizers. But remember to apply thin fertilizers frequently, and do not apply too concentrated fertilizer solution to avoid fertilizer damage.

In short, the fertilizer applied to white jasmine should be based on its growth status. Nitrogen fertilizer should be used as the main fertilizer during the growth period, and phosphorus and potassium fertilizers should be used as the main fertilizer before and during the flowering period. Remember to apply thin fertilizers frequently, and do not apply too concentrated or raw fertilizers to prevent fertilizer damage.

In addition, when planting and cultivating in northern regions, alum fertilizer water should be applied 3 to 5 times a year to prevent iron deficiency damage, and the soil should be loosened after fertilization.
