① Male iron tree blooms

②The mother iron tree blooms

The flowers of the female plant are flat and spherical, with petals slightly contracted inwards and brown hairs on the flowers. In addition, the female cycads have big red fruits, and the seeds are obovate, slightly flat, and brown-red.

Although the most commonly used method to distinguish male and female cycads is to wait for the cycads to mature and bloom, and then distinguish them by looking at the shape of the flowers.
