How to deal with alkaline soil? Methods for improving and regulating soil pH

How to deal with alkalinity in soil

If your soil is severely alkaline, such as saline-alkali land, then flowers, vegetables, and plants cannot grow. Therefore, we need to improve the severely alkaline soil and adjust its pH so that it is suitable for plant growth. So, how to deal with soil that is too alkaline?

Watering the soil with orange water

In fact, when we water the plants, we can add something to the water and then water the plants.

For example, orange peel water is a very useful water . Because orange peel water itself is acidic , it can adjust the alkalinity when used to water plants.

When using orange juice, you should first keep the orange peel. When you eat oranges, don't throw away the orange peel.

Then keep it and cut it into pieces. Then put it in a plastic pot or bottle for fermentation, and water the plants after the fermentation is successful.

Orange peel water has a very good effect after fermentation, but it must be diluted enough, otherwise the concentration will be too high and have a bad effect on plants .

Use rice vinegar

In fact, rice vinegar can also be used for watering, because rice vinegar itself is acidic . And its acidity is not particularly high , so it is very suitable for plants.

If you want to use rice vinegar, it is best to add two or three drops when watering, and not too much.

Alkaline soil can be improved to a slightly better state. However, if the alkalinity is too severe, there is no need to improve it. Changing the soil for plants is a particularly good method because it is highly reproducible.

Soil replacement

If the soil used by the plants at home has become alkaline and abnormal conditions have occurred. These conditions have become very serious, and finally watering has become difficult, then it is recommended that you change the soil for the plants.

Sometimes this situation may occur if the soil in your home has not been changed for a long time. So don't worry, just change some acidic soil.
