Methods and steps of hydroponic mung beans How to grow mung beans in water

Many people like to grow some flowers and plants at home, which can not only decorate the room and purify the air, but also relieve fatigue and relax the mood. Mung beans are a common food in the family. Drinking a bowl of mung bean soup in summer can quench thirst and cool down. You can also stir-fry raw mung bean sprouts and eat them, which is very healthy.

Hydroponic mung bean method

1. Germination

Wash the mung beans and soak them in clean water. The water should cover the mung beans. Change the water every day. If you only want to grow potted plants, 7 mung beans are enough. It is recommended that you soak more. The mung bean sprouts that grow out can be fried and eaten. It is delicious. When the mung beans are soaked, the skin breaks and small sprouts grow, which means they are soaked well.

2. Hydroponics

When the mung bean sprouts, you can do hydroponics. Choose a shallow pot with a depth of 5 cm, pour in 1 cm of pure water, and then put the sprouted mung beans in. After a week, young shoots will grow. At this time, you can provide it with scattered light to help the leaves grow.

Precautions for hydroponic mung beans

1. Change water regularly

Mung bean sprouts have high requirements for water quality. Change the water once a week to keep the water clean. In the summer when the temperature is high, water pollution is more serious. At this time, change the mung bean water every three days and then place it in a diffuse light environment for maintenance.

2. Lighting

The placement position must be correct, and you should choose a well-ventilated place that is not too stuffy, otherwise it will directly affect the later growth. The light should be soft and you cannot be exposed to strong light.
